Boxing clever The boxing ring is on a sponge base that is covered in sugarpaste with ribbon and royal iced piping around it's sides. The figures of the boxers and referee, the buckets and stools and even the four corner posts are all edible as they are made from suarpaste too. the 'ropes' around the ring are not edible as they are made from brown tape twisted to look like rope |

The shape was carved and moulded from a sponge cake layered with jam and buttercream, then covered with sugarpaste. The face features and body shape are all outlined to give depth and character. The jar beside her is a plaque, handmade from sugar and is used for an inscription |

Pirate ship This is a sponge cake layered with jam and buttercream carved to the shape of a ship then covered in sugarpaste. It has handmade models of pirates, treasure chest, jewels and rum barrels all made from sugarpaste. The cake board has a beach and sea effect; the only non-edible parts of the ship are the sails and rigging |

Traveller To give a well travelled look the suitcase had an assortment of
stickers showing different countries, straps with buckles, sturdy corners,
handle and lock all made from sugarpaste, the effect was finished with
brass coloured edible colouring for the lock, buckles and rivets |

This cake was made during the 2002 matches for the World Cup. The cake has figures moulded around it as if they were supporting the world. It has been dusted with an edible gold colour. The cake board has been covered in a mixture of flags of the countries in the 2002 finals, they are made from sugar |

Sweeties This sponge cake is layered with buttercream and jam and is adaptable for various occasions as favourite sweeties can be chosen to decorate it. Lollie pops standing around the edges might be used for a childs cake while after-dinner mints for adults |
