I would like to introduce myself, my name is Helen Palmer

During the early part of my career I entered some work at
Salon Culinair, an international catering competition held at Hotel Olympia, London 
and I was pleased when I won a gold medal for my work 

From that award I was offered training in France, however I chose to move on to
Fortnum & Mason, Piccadilly, London
working as a pastry chef in their in-house patisserie and bakery department

In 1999 I chose to work nearer home
 and became the cake decorator for a local family run bakery shop
Here competition work is encouraged and I have won Regional and National awards for them
Some of my work for them is shown on these pages along with trophy's

 I now also work from home where you may come to choose from albums of
cakes I have produced or to decide on a design that will be your very own

It may reassure you to know I have more than twenty years of experience in
cake making and decoration and I am a member of The British Sugarcraft Guild

I can offer you a personal consultation to choose the right design
